Paul Keane has posted a new Laser time of 1hr 3mins and 53seconds on the Island Trial Course.
Paul comments:
"This attempt was in a manageable 8-13kt Northerly breeze. Start time was 1 hour after low water. There was a very confused (echo) sea state on the route down and back. I was confronted by breaking waves in the channel between Muglins and Dalkey Island. There were serious overfalls (for a dinghy) off the southerly end of the island. I hope this information is useful to anyone else deciding to give the Island Trial a go in a Northerly."
